Divorce Recovery has continuous activities and support groups scheduled around the city. Always check the website to verify the date and time. The website will be immediately updated if any change in time or location occurs. Thank you for your interest in our programs!

This is support for anyone in the process of ending a marriage or relationship. The call-in group is for those in need of immediate support.

Divorce Recovery Call-In is by appointment only. Please send an email with your name, telephone number, and the best time to reach you to DRinfo@jfcstucson.org to set up an appointment.

GROUP LEADER TRAINING/INTERNSHIP

SEPTEMBER 7 - OCTOBER 12, 6:30-9pm, In-Person, Location TBD
Divorce Recovery is currently seeking individuals who are interested in leading support groups to people going through divorce or separation! Divorce Recovery Group Leader Training is designed to train potential leaders for Divorce Recovery groups. Anyone interested in becoming a Divorce Recovery Leaders must complete our six week training. We welcome individuals seeking more information about issues of divorce, group facilitation, and personal growth to participate. There is no obligation to lead a Divorce Recovery group, however, we encouraged all participants who complete the training to volunteer to facilitate a Divorce Recovery Group at least once throughout the year. Divorce Recovery offers college credit for the University of Arizona students, with a commitment of one semester. Please note that hours for an internship varies by department. Check with your Academic Advisor for approved units of credit, requirements, and paperwork.

DIVORCE RECOVERY I, SUMMER GROUP

JULY 29- SEPTEMBER 2, THURSDAYS 7:00-8:30PM, Via Zoom
THE TRANSITION JOURNEY: ENDINGS Separating, divorcing or being divorced can be a challenging often overwhelming experience. If you are confused and hurting this program can help your journey through the divorce process easier and less traumatic. This group addresses the beginning of the "endings" process. 8 consecutive weeks. You may join a group either the first or second meeting, after that, you must join the next available group. Registration for Divorce Recovery I is not necessary.

Online, via Zoom. To register send your name, phone, email address, and date of the group to DRinfo@jfcstucson.org. A Zoom link will be sent out the week prior to the start of the group.

A $70 donation is encouraged that covers the entire 8-week session. The donation can be paid all at once up front or spread out through the eight weeks. We will not turn anyone away that cannot afford the fee but do ask to give what you can.

DIVORCE RECOVERY II

AUGUST 18- OCTOBER 13, WEDNESDAYS 6:30-8:30PM, Via Zoom
This group addresses the "Neutral Zone" of the Divorce Transition. The focus is on the present, on you as the individual, saying goodbye to the past and getting ready to move on. In this group you will continue the focus on letting go and saying goodbye to your relationship by looking deeper at the relationship and deeper into yourself. This group process will also help you gain insight and skills on the questions of, "who am I now and where am I going?" Using a workbook, handouts, leader presentations and group discussions you will become empowered to face your new life with hope and confidence. Completion of Divorce Recovery I is required prior to enrollment.

CHILDREN OF DIVORCE AND CHANGING FAMILIES SUPPORT GROUP

Children of Divorce and Changing Families Support group assists all family members in the difficult transition through separation and/or divorce. This is an 8-week group for children and one parent. We offer age-appropriate activities for children (3 to 18) and an adult group for one parent to help facilitate open communication among family members to guide the family through the change process. Divorce Recovery support groups, including Children of Divorce and Changing Families, are non-sectarian programs and we are grateful to the many host sites that allow us to use their facilities. FINANCIAL FIRST AID

AS NEEDED
Do you need help with financial challenges after your separation and/or divorce? We can help! Sign up for Financial First Aid, which will help you get clearer about money and plan action steps. Facilitators are not financial planners, but have experience working with individuals in financial wellness.
